COMFORT OF HOME

Whenever I need a break from schoolwork deadlines or the stress of meeting sales quotas at work, I like to de-stress within the comfort of my home. My home is my sanctuary; a calm and quiet space away from the chaos raging outside. I enjoy reading works of fiction, whether from a book or on the Internet. Getting lost in the imagery of another world allows me to unwind and recharge. If I’ve had a particularly bad day, I love taking my dog, Lucy, for a walk while there’s still light outside. She goes crazy when she hears the word “walk,” and strolling around the neighborhood makes her very happy. Knowing that I’ve made Lucy happy helps me feel much better after a rough day. Talking to my family about my worries is also a great way for me to release some pressure. The compassion and advice they offer is priceless and helps me relieve so much of my stress and anxiety.
