TIME MANAGEMENT

"I manage my time by using my week days for studying and doing homework; meanwhile, allowing myself to a few episodes of Netflix in between. I use my weekends to distress and give myself at least a day off depending on my work load. I feel that one must find a happy medium to keep themselves from going crazy. Keeping track of the things that I have to get done throughout the day really helps me stay motivated. In reference to exercising, I like to hit the gym every so often to help keep me sane. I feel that running on the treadmill really helps me relax. Food however, is my weak point since healthy eating isn’t my forte."

"Managing your time between school, work, family, and friends can be difficult. One thing that helps me manage my time and keep stress levels low is maintaining consistency. Depending on the circumstances, it may be hard to maintain a solid schedule, but I still try to go to bed and wake up at the same times every day. It’s also beneficial to plan meals at the same time every day, and to plan for studying/homework at the same time every day. With all this consistency, your mind will be less joggled and more focused on the task at hand, as it is accustomed to those exact circumstances."

"Whenever I need a break from schoolwork deadlines or the stress of meeting sales quotas at work, I like to de-stress within the comfort of my home. My home is my sanctuary; a calm and quiet space away from the chaos raging outside. I enjoy reading works of fiction, whether from a book or on the internet. Getting lost in the imagery of another world allows me to unwind and recharge. If I’ve had a particularly bad day, I love taking my dog, Lucy, for a walk while there’s still light outside. She goes crazy when she hears the word “walk,” and strolling around the neighborhood makes her very happy. Knowing that I’ve made Lucy happy helps me feel much better after a rough day. Talking to my family about my worries is also a great way for me to release some pressure. The compassion and advice they offer is priceless and helps me relieve so much of my stress and anxiety."
